Okay so I have a build in progress that is mostly finished, it just doesn't have a graphics card yet and it probably won't have one for quite a while. But I do have a i7 4770k liquid cooled by a swiftech h320... long story short I overclocked the integrated graphics to 2.5 gigahertz. (keep in mind it comes stock at 1.25) I had no Idea it could overclock that well! I'm not finished yet, but it seems fairly stable. How far can this thing go?

I had it overclocked to 3 GHz on mine and I thought it worked great, until it crashed. Stress test the ever living bajeebus out of your system to make sure it's stable.

 

Speaking of my chip, I had to settle for 1.6GHz.

wow, good news for me, I want to see how fast I can get this thing going.

The GPU cores lack all the control logic around the CPU cores in Haswell which produce the bulk of the heat. Raw calculation units are cheap on electricity and heat, but the reordering, pipelining, etc. is what makes Haswell burn on the CPU side. Intel's GPUs are based on the most efficient floating point units in the industry. This is why Iris 6200 on Broadwell is going to be terrifying for AMD APU fans. 2TFlops at stock 1.3GHz, 4.1TFlops at 3GHz (doubt you will pull off 3 GHz on 96 GPU cores though) after adjusting for scaling and likely dropped cycles.

no worries,amd tommorow relases its 20ghz processor that actually connects direcly to the wall and not the 8pin cpu connector! they also specified "LN2 pls" in the manual , wonder whats that all about
