Hiya guys, so my dad is getting me a new pair of combat boots as my magnums fell apart the other day and I know quite a few people here are into airsoft and might know abit about boots.

So I have the choice of either the AltBerg sneeker aqua boots or the lowa recce GTX gore-tex.

So yeah if any of you know much about boots could you tell me which might be the better pair? Thanks.

i don't know the quality of the boots, but my old army boots are similar to the gore-tex one. except mine is steel-toed aswell.

comparing those to my old boots, the gore-tex one are much better. More breathable.

so my vote goes to the goretex ones.

The LOWAs are really nice and comfortable

I also like the bates gx8 gore tex and HAIX GSG 9-X gore-tex

No experience with AltBerg in person so I cannot comment,, but definitely try get gore-tex such good stuff

goretex is most of the time better, breathable and waterproof.

thanks, but I decided to find a shop that sold both and tried them and the Alt Bergs are miles lighter than the LOWA's, also the guy in the shop said that although alt berg isn't as popular as lowa he said their boots are just as good.

So I ended up getting them anyway. cheers though.

Salomon break quickly, I had a pair of marrels with Vbram and gortex for about 3 years, still usable, not mint condition though.

Thanks but I was only ever going to go with lowa or altberg, as I figured if they are issued to the troops they must be amazing.

Russia Garsing boots stronk like bear.

Only about $60.

I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...

I have a feeling this would be to militant for you but it is the bom diggity and it seems to come with bullet proof shin guards and this one will make a statement not even you thought possible.

Damn them spiked boots! If you ever run out of ammo you could just kick your enemy, great thinking!!
