Hello!

So Im just getting into PC gaming after switching from my Xbox 360, and was looking for a good game.

I have and like:

-Borderlands,

-Skyrim,

-Assassins Creed,

-Bioshock,

-CoD

(I know these arent all RPGs)

If someone could find a good questing game like WoW or Skyrim without a subscription id be very happy.

Thanks

Diablo 1/2 is a must play.

If you like f2p MMOs there are countless and you could enjoy GW2. If you are looking mainly for singleplayer games though, check out Skyrims predessors like Morrowind and Oblovion. They are great too.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

I second Guild Wars 2, very fun game and you only have to pay to 60 dollars for it :). Have you tried any of the recent fallout titles? I got bored of New Vegas pretty quick, but I still love Fallout 3. If you have a gamepad/xbox 360 controller, you could pick up a copy of darksouls: prepare to die edition. Very fun JRPG, but VERY difficult :P

I looked into GW2, but i heard there were no quests. I heard you just go around and do random stuff. Is this true or am i completely wrong?

Also, should I get diablo 1, 2 or 3

I would heavily recommend Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, both are great. I've played them each multiple times. Also The Secret World is great, you can just play solo even thought it's an MMO.

Be careful recommending older games. The old Diablos do not hold up for first-time players (I'd recommend Torchlight/Torchlight 2 over the Diablo games, probably).

I've heard Bastion is supposed to be amazing, too.

Quite wrong.

As MMO's go, I highly recommend Guild Wars 2 (it has no subscription, just buy the game and you really get FULL access - which is a lot "more" free-to-play then most MMO's out there that claim F2P status but should be renamed to "free to play parts of the game" imo).

Single player (mostly) rpgs: Dragon Age Series (I and II atm), Mass Effect Series, Elder Scrolls Series (starting with Morrowind, which I agree with Dedenstein, is one of the most amazing rpgs ever), Kingdoms of Amalur (great fun game imo), Fallout New Vegas...

I would recommend the Gothic series apart from the new 4th one. It is a bit old so don't expect the best graphics but the overall story line and the game is quite amazing in my opinion :)
