Hey guys, I remember linus mentioning the screwdriver that he used in one of his videos and he said that it had a ton of heads and was only about $25. Do you know which one it is?

I have that one as well, mine is like 10 years old,and still works fine.  It's kind of pricey, $64, not $25.  Your paying for brand name and quality.  I like this one better, shaft is detachable 1/4" square drive http://store.snapon.com/Complete-Screwdrivers-Screwdriver-Ratcheting-Soft-Grip-Standard-Green-P643057.aspx  .  Go green team!

Many would say to avoid magnetic with computers. As long as you are careful and know what you are doing you'll be fine though.

the only thing that would really be affected by a magnet is an hdd, and I seriously doubt a screwdriver magnet would even be strong enough to affect an hdd.

Sure go ahead and touch a magnet to everything else besides your hard drive and see what happens. Static electricty doesn't hurt either so throw some of that in there while you're at it. Soak your PC in a bathtub full of water before plugging in for the best liquid cooling currently available.

theres nothing in a computer that would likely get affected by a magnet, unless of course you have a super strong magnet near an hdd, or happen to some CRTs lying around.

Don't touch a CPU or hard drive with a magnetized screwdriver. This is why I said as long as you know what you're doing you'll be fine. This was one of my exam questions when going to school to become an IT. Building and repairing computers since 1995 and I never had a problem with magnetic screwdrivers but I also know exactly what is safe to touch and what is not. I also do not touch sensitive motherboard components either just to play it safe since the whole motherboard is circuitry and magnets can cause a change in polarity. Usually the magnetic field produced by a screwdriver is too weak to cause any problems but some are more magnetized than others also.
