Both have their strengths and weaknesses obviously. As a Systems Administrator, I support both Mac and PC's and sad to say.. I get double the calls for Macs. The simple reason being when something doesn't work, Mac users get angry saying it's something wrong with the "server" (that term is used very loosely with users) instead of doing some basic troubleshooting. They hit a road block when something does't work the correct way for them. Long term Windows users are better at finding a solution before calling me. For instance, Outlook isn't connecting and Mac users call me right up when in fact they don't know how to connect to a wireless network. Windows users will check basic network settings to be sure they are on the correct network. Simple Stuff that like. I would like to have a Mac but I believe they are not robust enough for me (laptop wise) I love my little 11 Inch gaming laptop. My friend has a Mac Pro with retina and he is also a part of our NCIX Forums Folding@home Team. A couple hours of Folding and his mac overheats. I put Full load on both my CPU and GPU all night and wake up to my PC still sitting at the desktop.. Things like that scare me about Macs and how they are meant to be used in one way and if you don't use them in the "sandbox", so to speak, they bite you in the butt! On the other hand, Windows PC have their fair share of issues, awful battery life, build quality, support...I have seen multiple PCs get a bad name because the build quality sucks. I like a down to earth computer that can go above and beyond what I need it to do and a little more and I want my moneys worth so I will stick to my little Sager W110ER and run Mac OS in a VM if I have too. :) my 3 cents!

Mac is too restricted. You simply do not know what is really in your computer, and you barely have the option to keep it up to date yourself (can't do your own upgrades). Apple does this on purpose, because that is really the only way they can make money. Also, Apple computers are EXTREMELY OVERPRICED and for the same amount of money for something like a Macbook Pro, you can buy a kick-ass PC!
No I know they don't make their own parts but they don't include the best quality stuff. If I am not mistaken they only tell you what Intel CPU you have and exactly what type of graphics you have. AND you can't make any changes.

It depends on what your use case is. I use both on a daily basis. I have a macbook pro and a custom desktop. I like the mac laptops better because that is where I get my work done. I find the full screen better on the mac because there are no distractions. There are pros and cons to both systems. If you have any questions about working with both feel free to ask.

Yet... I have more control over how my computer operates in OSX, natively, than I do in windows. I use Windows,OSX, and Linux, but there are restrictions on all sides man.

I have a 2019 macbook pro with 64gb of ram and my gaming pc has been in the closet since 2018
