Some ssd questions

So i plan to pick up a ssd soon, but want to stay on the cheaper side.

 

so i need enough capcity to fit, my os, cs go, chrome, adobe photoshop elements 12 and premier elements 12, multiple minecraft ftb packs (i think about 5gb each) maybe bf4 too. so im guessing 240gb is what i will need.

 

so i live in canada and am going to order from ncix before the 20th (if i have the money, which i should) so i get free shipping and sales)

 

so what ssd shoul i look at for arround 110$ to 120$ cad on ncix

Nope not even close give up and go home....no I'm just joking....check the samsung evo (regualar) in the us at least they run about 120 for a 250.

And yes 240GB is the sweet spot. You will have no trouble fitting all your stuff there.

I can fit all of my programs (including all BF 3 and BF 4 and some Steam games) in my 250GB Samsung 840 Evo SSD. It's fast and very snappy, I must say.

 

But I guess if you want a cheaper alternative, go with the Crucial M550. That was my 2nd choice.

Just get MX100 256GB. Its fast enough (dont get fooled by mighty 500MB/s write speeds, since they mean jack shit in real world). Unless you can get a better deal on something else.
