I have a Corsair Graphite 760t case with a build I'm working on, I have all the parts coming in the mail but I can't decide on any LED lighting strips to go around the window on the chassis (inside of it obviously) anyone know any good lighting strips to get?

What colour are you looking for?

Bitfenix LED strips are great, but that run off PSU power so they are always on when the PC is on.

NZXT Hue is one of the best RGB LED strips, but don't get it if you want white lighting because RGB white looks horrible.

I know phobya and darkside make good LED strips too.

NEW PC build: Blank Heaven   minimalist white and black PC     Old S340 build log "White Heaven"        The "LIGHTCANON" flashlight build log        Project AntiRoll (prototype)        Custom speaker project

Wanting Blue lighting

Bitfenix alchemy LED strips.

If you want to be able to turn on and off the lighting, get the NZXT Hue. The Hue already comes with an RGB LED strip, so you can make almost any colour you want, including just blue.

I would get the Hue but honestly I don't want the front panel on my PC, I like the plain look with nothing there

Can I make them not rings? If so these will work fine

They're just rolled up, normal LED strips with double stick tape on the back, best to replace that btw since their tapes they use usually don't last long, but depends, 3M double stick exterior tape works amazing.

I have several of the Phobya LED strips, and I'm not entirely certain if I would recommend them or not.

First of all - they have a very strong smell of CS gas when new, and despite getting fainter, they still kinda stink several months later.

I bought a kit consisting of two 60cm LED strips, along with one 240cm LED strip.
The 60cm ones are (logically enough) a lot more powerful than the longer one, and the 60cm strips also are much closer to "real" white light than the 240cm strip.
Another oddity, is that the long and short ones seem to be wired separately:
- If I press White on the remote control, all of them glow white, with the longest one having a purple sheen to it.
- If I press Blue, all of them glow the same blue color.
- If I press Red, the long one glows red, and the two short ones glow green.
- If I press Green, the long one glows green, and the two short ones glow red (christmas theme, anyone?)
- If I press Yellow, they all glow yellow, but the long one is a distinctly different shade.
- If I press some of the buttons for "mixed" colors, I get results like the long one glowing purple, and the short ones glowing turquoise, and insane combinations like that.

In other words, personally I am looking for better options than Phobya.
It is completely possible that I have got a lemon here, but I figured I would chime in either way - more information rarely hurts.

Too much is never enough.

I have same case and just yesterday installed my NZXT Sleeved led kit inside around the window and here are the results http://i.gyazo.com/1b2a2d8b80ac1c180d3c312d4a110762.png it looks little dark but it's pretty bright for real and you can control the brightnes.

The NZXT option seems great, I just really don't want anything showing in my optical bay Dx

Yea it's the only minus but if you are into modding you might do something about it :D

I was wondering if i could mount it inside 5.25" bay you know the one opens from front so behind that.

That might actually work, might look into that!
