It is possible, due to 3rd party companies that will produce this cards, but we have no way of knowing if they will implement this.

6GB, even better :D That'll make the Titan close to obsolete, if it isn't already.

...which is why Nvidia probably won't let this be done. I'm pretty shocked they didn't cut the memory bus down to 320 bit, so that it would make the titan look at all like a viable choice.

The 780 is almost as powerful as a titan. Don't go around talking cr*p unless you can provide a source that has evidence for this statement

Actually he may not be wrong with his statement. When you start talking 4k resolutions or 7680 x 1440 (when more than 3gb vram is needed) you need more than 1 titan/780 to get a decent frame rate so a single one is not powerful to utilise that memory on its own.

Yeah, and because vram is one of the most expensive things on a graphics card, the price will be nearly the same.
