Do a search and check out some of the previous posts. There is also a sticky and Q&A thread that can answer most questions. What coin are you looking to mine and what hardware do you have?

I threw a 4770 i got for $20 into an old DELL and im folding away. Only gets about 70MH/s though.

Where i live power is pretty cheap, so i only make about $1.70 a week. Its fun to play with and all, just keep in mind that you will NEED to join a pool and you will likely never earn back what your using in power.

hope this helps

- Start by researching a little more and deciding what coin do you want to mine.

- Calculate the estimated profit, base on your hardware (or the hardware you want to buy for mining) research about the Kilohashes (Litecoin) or Megahashes (Bitcoin) you will get from them, the power they will consume and the cost of the power you will use.

if your hardware is good and your power cost is not high, you should end up with a monthly profit. (is up to you to decide what is a good profit for the work/invesment done).

if you dont have good hardware and cant get profit mining. you may still get involved in the cryptocurrency scene by trading coins.

decide to mine??

- Then look around for a pool.

- Start preparing your hardware and setting the software to mine in the pool you selected.

PG.-

Looking around,

bla bla bla this, meh that!
