Do you even have the money for this considering you're 15?

I built my system and i'm fifteen. I'm too cheap to watercool, though.

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Are you really running that on the floor? Hope you didn't get a static discharge from that rug... that is just super impatient and a little strange.?? To each his own. good luck with the rest of your build.... ..

If you ain't voiding warranties you ain't doing it right!!!!!   :D

How exactly is testing your components out of the case strange. It is completely normal to do. It lets you see if something is broken on arrival. And the PSU is grounded. I hope he was not having a sweater on while building :P. It would be a bit dangerous.

Well you don't do it near anything that can cause static. A rug or carpet can easily do that.

The second you plug the PSU in it will ground, and I always ground myself too, so I could build a PC on a rug with wool socks and a sweater on no problem.

Test in a bench... not the floor were static can cause issues... Yes wool can produce static. but it's your mobo and stuff... I am only stating something they may HELP you. I wouldn't want to see you get your stuff broke no need to get all defensive.... I wouldn't risk it.....

No need to get offended. I just am a cheapass and do not want to spend so much money on a test bench. But usually I build my pcs on a table.
