Is Asus ROG Worth it?

I have been recently looking at PC parts and came across Asus' ROG series. Is it worth the extra $100 to buy an ROG graphics card compared to a normal Asus or EVGA?

not really. some will have slightly better performance but usually. its quite insignificant

also. what are the parts you are comparing ?

Compared to a reference card, yeah. Compared to other alternatives, no.

All ROG gpus just are "premium" versions of their standard DirectCU II line of graphics cards. Only real difference is the physical appearance of the card while performance for the most part is the same. Lastly the platinum means the the cards are binned meaning they have higher overclocking potential.

Whatever you think looks better. Temps don't really matter since your not gonna get hot even on reference. Just buy base on price and the aesthetics.
