Will my setup support a 4K?

From what I hear 4K requires a ton of VRAM. Which a 760 doesn't really have.

What do you mean with support? Will it drive a 4k screen? Yes. Will it max out current games? No. But it would probably be able to play at medium-ish settings without AA.

He will not max anything out, so he will be fine VRAM wise.

760 SLI is similar performance to a single 780ti which is playable if you turn settings down but the memory bandwidth isn't really there on the 760s.

For what gaming, then around 30 fps, but one new games like crysis 3 will struggle on 4k. Set low settings.

Nope not at all.

You would only be able to play at 60fps with minimum to low settings

Better go for a 1440p monitor

It is a pretty hard performance hit, yes. But 2 760s should be fine for the most part. You may run into a few issues with the low VRAM, so you would have to turn down some settings. You should be able to play most games at high-ultra settings though.

Any modern gpu can run 4k, but its not going to do well in games, I wouldn't even do 1440P.
