Virtuix Omni for $450 (save $50)

Bloodyvalley

With this though I believe you can't crouch in games or jump so not interested.  Also my enthusiasm for Oculus Rift died when Facebook bought them and I continue to have no enthusiasm for what they are doing now.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

You can do both!

Crouching is sort just stooping down low but you still can, and there are videos of them jumping

Apparently you can also "sit" in the harness when driving a vehicle

nope, oculus rift cv1 is designed for a seated experience.

I think it's way too early to be purchasing all this other stuff, there is no standard. You don't want a $450 device that only works with a few games.

As for immersion, I won't be immersed until I feel like I'm actually swimming/going up stairs/etc. Omni just looks like running in a bowl.
