I take it that is the anniversary edition for the Pentium chip. Its a great value every review I've seen has praised it but don't go into it without taking a look at overclocking as people have overclocked it a good bit. Only complaint is the builders series psu. Quality wise its great for normal use but I've seen people completely write it off with gaming systems.

I agree with him as well its a sound point. I believe that since the chip is only really worth it if you overclock it it may be best to suggest a chip that isn't overclockable. As there are a few microcenters within Ohio you may want to look there as well.

 

They have mobo+cpu combos that destroy anything you'll find on pcpartpicker.

I included the monitor and OS and keyboard but it stretches your budget to $760  but if @calarahil can find you a good combo go for it!
