So about £250 for a 16GB module. That is pretty good.

Nope. My current builds have a ASROCK Extreme 9/ac(4770k) and a Extreme 4(2600k).

The gold caps look ridiculous and what's with the first one having blue accents on only four DIMM slots and not anywhere else?

 

Then there's the blood bath down stairs.

 

It looks like a decent board, but if I'm going to pay a pretty penny for a board, then I'd expect it not to look like ass.
