Too bad GTA IV is optimized worse than a potato..

 

However, I am glad to see that the GTA (IV) modding comm. is still very active. I haven't played the game in a few months but when I did, I did have a few mods.

 

Hopefully my 780 can handle GTA V with icenhancer

I'd rather play vice city or san andreas. IV sucked (no tank) and annoying family/friends that you have to hangoutwith/date

Nope, the mod's website is just slow as hell unfortunately, he used to use http://www.gta4-mods.com/ but has set up a new site of his own.

My two GTX 670s run it ok but it does heat them up a lot. It runs with the same intensity as a benchmark and the temps are much higher than anything I've ever seen before (89C). The last time I ran furmark it was only hitting 75C

Still think GTA IV with CryENB looks better.

I agree some parts of CryENB do look better, however iCEnhancer has better rain reflections and building light intensity at night. They are both based on the same ENB version anyway (0.163)

I prefer games that don't require a titan/780Ti to run normally.

Basically this mod is the biggest graphical mod for GTA. It took 3 years to make and is just unreal. The fact that it looks better than most games today and GTA IV is already like 6 years old days a lot. The link for download is getting hammered right now so Ill have to wait to try it :(
