trying to recover a password (not a file)

there's this security software, and it was open source, so i modified it, and i made a password for it, and i'm trying to crack that,

you know... i find it very fun to developing (actually, i'm modifying, but let's just say i made it)

i'm not advance enough to make is encrypted, it just is a click and open, then type in the password is view the contents, it's just locked, not encrypted, still i think i did a good job.

and saying that i've done a good job, i would like to use it,

i've decided to use it just as an extra security for stuff that doesn't need them because using rar just takes time, cuz you're actually trying to compress it, so to view it, you need decompressing, and not to say, i have a crappy laptop, and it takes time to decompress, so, i'm gonna use it.

now  before i start using, i'm a person who's quite clumsy, and i have BAD memory, real bad one, (like you go down the stairs for a cup of water and you forget ( loop 3 times)), so just for precaution,

 

I need a software that can brute force a text box (well, it's type and enter), just in case i ever will loose the password

and i know they take long, so i'm just gonna keep them short,

so that's the story,

got a program for that?

is there a program that types a password in and then press enter, and try the next one (brute force)

i'm not that advance that i can make a program cuz i don't even know how to!

Idk but if you really wanted that I script would be really easy to write for that.

muh specs 

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

I typoed..."I" was supposed to be A. I'm sorry. You could look for a premade one. 

If you wanted to do it youself, Phython is probably a good idea for this. 

Whatever you use, you'd want to have nested loops, and and Array of acceptable characters in arrays. 

For slot 1, it starts in the first array slot, goes through array. Starts back at first array slot. (say A)

Adds 2nd slot

Now AA

goes through whole array in second slot before incremnting first slot. 

So AB, AC, ...BA

And so on for as many slots as you wish. Also worth noting, you could have the script run through a text file of all words in the English dictionary first.

That list has about 110,000 words.
