Will this setup work

Okay so I use a 1920x1080 ips display for everything, but I have my old 1400x900 tn monitor lying around and I was thinking hooking up that monitor so while I'm playing games and the such I can use it to display info (PC temps, messages, etc), and I was wondering will it work with that resolution difference, and what kind of performance hit if any should I expect?

Should work fine and i dont think there really will be a performance hit since your not running a game on it too. go for it second monitor is so helpful sometimes.

Easy, go with amazon if you are stingy and willing to wait a while, or go with your local retailer if you want it now.

heads up, it will rise your idle temps by a little. because the gpu idles higher because of the second display. but besides that performance is not impacted.

my GPU is pretty cool anyways, so that is no issue what so ever
