Probably already done but people should know what to expect from different retailers. I'll explain mine.

SuperBiiz has very good customer service, I has a issue with a purchase and one minute later they called and solved the issue without me consulting them. That's just f*cking brilliant.

Amazon is known for it's RMA's, you can throw your GPU in front of a 16 wheeler and say that it was bricked when it arrived, they'll believe you and send you a new one.

Microcenter = CPUs.

Newegg is just a browsing catalog for me now because their website is so simple yet I don't buy from them because their support is absolute crap like a crap from the pope in the forest.

NCIX is just as good as any other retailer out there. Nothing special.

How about you?

I'm glad you've had a good experience with SuperBiiz, I was worried about ordering from them.

At first I was like WHO THE FUCK IS CALLING ME NOW. But then they said they were from SuperBiiz and calling about a attempted purchase and at that moment my mind was blown,

NCIX fan here because i live on Vancouver island, and one of the ncix warehouses are in Richmond(Vancouver area) so shipping is like 3 days or less. AND if for some reason i cant get what i want, or something is wrong, i take a 1.5 hr BC ferries ride over and i can walk right into a ncix store, i cant wait until ncix decides to put a store on Vancouver island. :)

LinusTech plz ask ncix for this ;_;

Psh. I dream of living anywhere close to a viable PC store. The MicroCenter nearest to me is like 2 hours away from me and I don't particularity have a gas efficient car.

That kind of sucks. I live about 20-25 minutes away from two NCIX's and about 20 minutes away from a Memory Express.

Nearest computer retailer is 89km away. Worst thing is that their prices are really high compared to online - I've seen an FX-9590 from them for $900. I've only bought from them once, I had to buy an 8GB DIMM urgently.

I wouldn't rate a customer service experience on just one occasion, some companies have stellar records, yet people still complain, and vice versa.

I've had mixed service from multiple companies on multiple occasions, the only bad service I've had so far was NCIX, multiple times they've screwed up shipping and my orders as well as updating their "progress" on my orders.  I've ordered 5 times, 4 of the times things have been messed up.

I have always been fond of Newegg, but mainly because they have a large warehouse 2 hours away from me, so the free 3 day UPS shipping is always next day. As far as their support goes I have never really had any problems I can remember, and just the other week I a built a $3000 workstation for a friend's new business and I never got the Watchdogs key with the main order. I called them and after 3 minutes on the phone he overnighted a new card to me. (As it turns out it was coming from another state, however their website didn't state that so I ended up with 2 keys :D )

NZXT is great. They changed my whole fan back i/o controller and LEDs when just the LEDs died with only checking if i was under warranty without my having to proove that the LEDs were dead.

EVGA seems good so far.

Galaxy has/had great GPUs but the support is just terrible.

There's this area in the capital where you've got around 50+ PC parts shops in an area less than 5km sq. in our country (and no, there are no decent online shops which can compete on the same level as the physical shops)... Lots of people in your face asking if you want laptop repairs, etc... I tend to say (in the native language) "No, I do not want laptop repairs. I've already contacted the shop." but these guys are relentless... They only leave you when you outright tell them that... If ever you ask about something, they'll lead you to a shop with third rate crap or second hand goods... On the bright side, I was able to find the ever rare DDR 333MHz RAM that I was looking for through them... But still, it's best to go there with nerves of steel and a clear plan... Customer service is also decent at best, crap at worst (with the rep cursing behind your back)... They do their jobs properly at the very least...

Amazon- Very good CS

Newegg- Extreamly good CS. I dont know about the other peeps complaining about Newegg, but I had a SSD that died after 2 days when it arrived and they Advanced replaced it faster than you could think. Maybe it was because I bought it on cyber Monday and I spent a lot of money with them.

Besides those two I really do not buy from any other places really.

I'm a young dude compared to other techies. Walk into frys because I wanted to look around. I go to their prebuilt pc's to laugh at the prices. One sales guys comes up to me and tells me how amazing the locked 3770 cpu and 4gbs of ram are. I then asked him why the used a locked cpu in a "gaming rig" , he froze up and didn't know what to say.

The RMA at any tech store is horrible. They always think you did it on purpose to get some money out of it or use it for free for the first 90 days.
