If its your first gun dont get any of these guns...

DONT buy a pack with batterys and charger because they suck.

I haven't thought about airsoft in forever, but as far as I remember, TM is top of the line quality (although they are plastic and fire at 300 FPS because of Japanese laws). there are plenty of other companies like Classic Army, VFC, G&G and some other ones that sell quality guns as well, some of which have products at the level of TM with more metal and higher velocities. JG is good for cheap guns.

 

If you want a gas gun, WE guns tend to need a couple hundred dollars of upgrade parts out of the box. The KJW m4 is pretty good out of the box (that's what I have); kinda crappy hop up though.

 

As for pistols, TM is top of the line. KWA is also good, AFAIK. KJW is alright.

 

Actual model that the airsoft gun is replicating is not that important, it's a matter of ergonomics, for the most part. There are things like the WE SCAR being very prone to having this one specific part breaking (hinge plate or something), and TM clone M4s sometimes having barrel wobble. read reviews.

Get a Kel-Tec PF-9. It's in your price range and you'll totally win all the airsoft matches with the stupidest looking gun. Might have to find some new friends though, they won't want to play with you again.

None of those are airsoft brands, you are just listing the real firearm manufacturers

 

You should really get onto a good airsoft forum and learn some more about airsoft guns!, there is a lot to choose from, differences in gearbox and battery technology, gas vs electric, polymer vs metal, cheap vs expensive, all the differend brands etc

 

Best advice, go to a few games if you havnt already, try out peoples guns (they will let you have a plink), check out what they are like to hold, too big or small for you, how comfy, how much weight you are willing to carry around, are the mags easy to carry (for example P90 mags are a dick even though the Tokyo Marui P90 is a great gun)

 

Once you have picked a design/style of gun you like, then you can find out which one is considered the best and get that
