Best 780 non-reference cooler

Smithy2402

Which is the best (preferably in order), and is MSI Twin Frozer better than Gigabyte Windforce?

EVGA usually has the best ones. MSI has a few good ones. Windforce ones are kinda good but they are noisy. Do a proper seach on the internet before deciding (i recommend youtube cooler comparisons, they exist)

Asus or evga I reckon, and I think the msi twin frozr is better than the windforce cooler as well.

I will be using a Fractal Design Define R4 case, so will you be able to hear the Windforce card?

EVGA is generally the best option except for extreme cards like MSI lightning or Galaxy HOF. So MSI Lightning, EVGA ACX, MSI Gaming, Gigabyte Windforce, Asus DCUII, Zotac AMP.

check it on the case website. They give you the measures but i'm guessing u are fine, even if you have to take out some drive cages

I can also never find them anywhere in Canada :(

Just like we cannot find EVGA in Asia.

Gigabyte is generally pretty good, plus they have a UK office/warehouse unlike most other GPU manufacturers. This means should something go wrong you'll get your RMA turned around quicker. People will lick EVGA's arse, but if your card goes tits up you'll have to send it to Hungary, apparently.

The two here I'd go for would be MSI TF, since it's cheapest, or Gigabyte Windforce since it's only slightly dearer.

Although not for the 780 EVGA holds the record with the K1NGP1N card for the 780Ti so for High end I would not count them out.

Did I say it was for the 780?

Then why mention the Kingpin since the OP was asking about 780s?

You said that in general EVGA is not good for most extreme cases. I was just pointing out that they are fine in extreme cases. But I guess I am getting a little off topic.
