need help creating a ChromeBook Recovery image (formatting 26 Chromebooks)

aidenrelkoff

first off i am just going to say this; If you have a chrome book, i feel your pain....

these things are steaming piles of crap..... there is no "Pc settings" you click on the clock in the bottom right corner and click "settings, it opens a chrome tab and brings your to the settings page (chrome://settings/).....

anyways, i managed to get to the recovery file creator thingy on the advanced part of the settings page (this function is not visible on Win desktop Chrome) So it searches for the right file (takes about 2 mins) then downloads the 498mb compress package, after when it self extracts, it just fails the extraction..... i hit try again, same problem...

its not the USB (8gbs, it only needs 4gbs) i think that its because its a school laptop, even though i have access to a admin account.

my next option is to make the recovery file on another computer (like windows) EXCEPT it needs the model name, and no its not simple like "Mk24709" its like "SAMS ALEX BETA-US 8738" (not joking, thats the example they give me) and dont worry, there is not like 1 name per version, there are THOUSANDSSSSSSSSSSSS AND I HAVE TO FORMAT 26 CHROME BOOKSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

Also mine stalls at 0:33

here is also how to do it on a different computer, do you think i should do in like this?
