HTC One M7 stuck infinite Boot Loop

Go to solution Solved by Jaybird,

yall suck. I found a work around. it may do it again later but for now its fixed with no data loss.

solution: had team win recovery project installed. selected reboot, selected system. system rebooted and did not loop.

I managed to some how get my M7 stuck in an infinite boot loop. my phone is ROOTED only and still using stock rom. Prior, I was taking a picture with HDR and flash and when it flashed, the screen went dark and rebooted. I was thinking dead battery but even after letting it charge for some time, now at 25% it still does this. I am ok with hard reset but I do not want to lose my photos. everything else I can redownload etc. any ideas? I can access the bios just fine.

Never had this problem with an iPhone.

Sounds like a soft brick, If you can get a hold of a stock ROM or tried flashing to a new custom ROM such as Cyanogenmod.

I had this issue with my M7. I had to factory reset it to make it stop. Lost everything. It's k though for me, because I don't keep anything important on my phone because it's a phone and I am slowly growing to hate mobile technology with a firey passion of a thousand erupting suns.

It's not k for you though. Sucks bro. Hope you can find another way or have ok backups.

just boot into recovery, copy all your pictures to your pc then copy over a new ROM zip and flash and you should be good to go.

You might want to share your work around just in case others are also in your situation.

FREE SOLUTION - WIPES DATA

Power on to the HTC logo. Hold volume down and power keys until reboot/recovery menu appears. Select boot loader option in the menu and hit factory reset. It make take a few tries to work but it is functional and free.
