What i should take ?

Go to solution Solved by Aniallation,

So i take the asus ? And it has a good speed ??

Yes, I'd highly recommend it for this budget. It's got really good speed and great reliability. The only thing it's missing though is dual-band functionality, which also depends on your router, and what you're doing. But for general use it's a great adapter.

Yeah but USB is kinda slow...

Lol no it isn't, you'll get the same speed unless your internet is stupid fast...

You'll see a difference..... if you have a high-end WiFi AC adapter, a high-end AC router, and you're doing file transfers to a NAS when your PC is right beside the router. Lol

The "theoretical" throughput of WiFi AC is higher then the max throughput of USB 2.0, but again, as a result, most decent WiFi AC adapters are USB 3.0.

Are we talking USB 2 or USB 3?

USB 2.0 MAY bottleneck some high end WiFi AC hardware, some routers are rated up to 1900Mbps when USB 2.0 is rated up to 480Mbps. However these are theoretical limits and with just general usage you'd be hard pressed to see issues with using USB 2 for WiFi. USB 3 though, tops out at way higher then any consumer AC network right now (4800Mbps) and most adapters are moving to USB3.

Yeah I've never seen USB 2 wifi sticks to actually work very well, that's why. But hey, if you guys know it works then go for it.

A lot of people complain about USB WiFi sticks to me, and pretty much all of the people who complain are using the cheapo $20 WiFi sticks like one of those mini dongles. The people I know who use proper, higher end USB adapters never had a problem. I've had lots of cheap (especially D-link) USB adapters go bad on me, but I've never had a problem with my two more expensive USB dongles, an Asus USB-N53 and a Linksys AE3000.

I had a usb 2 wireless N wifi stick by asus, paired with my asus rtn66u. I got the exact same speeds and reliability as I do with an ethernet cable. Latency might have increased by 10 ms, but we're talking going from 50ms ping time in games to 60ms (if even that much) in game.

Asus makes damn good USB WiFi sticks. They're the only company who I haven't had a stick fail on me. Pretty much every other company I tried had theirs die within a month or two.

Asus makes pretty good anything in my experience. I've owned a lot of products from them and nothing has ever failed me and everything has been top quality. :D
