Hoping to get an opinion from more experienced builders then my self on if this is a nice build. I'm going to mainly use it for gaming but I need it to be adaptable for other things too. Now my main question is, is there any way to make it cheaper without affecting performance or are there any parts that would be better then the ones i have now for the price range of under $2000.

My changes would be 16GB of RAM as that is plenty even for heavy video editing and photo work. As well as getting a Seagate or WD HDD for reliability. I don't know much about Toshiba drives but I can give my personal recommendation to either of those 2 brands. Lastly, probably a different power supply but I don't know enough about them to give a recommendation.

I don't see why you did that with the ram.. it doesn't make any sense. 16gigs is overkill already..

Ditch this 780 and get a non-reference design.(asus,msi,evga)

Ditch this power supply and get the corsair RM650 or the evga supernova 650w 80+gold.

750D is a bit large for this system but if you want it,there is no problem whatsoever.

Blue-ray .-.

Don't mix memory, get a non- reference 780. Buy windows from G2A, it's $22. Ditch the Blu-Ray drive

Do you recommend a 450D case instead?

GTX EVGA ACX 780!

The 450D is more space efficient, it has more airflow (the 750D blocks part of the airflow on the front panel, this is a bit cooler), and it's cheaper, I say go for it.
