I really like the looks of it. Seems like a very solid and sturdy laptop! Pretty sure it can handle most games out there.

 

And FML for staying in a timezone where the WAN show starts early morning for me :(

I like the 4 speakers along with the option to use that external subwoofer.

I like that they replaced the tn panel with the ips display. Should make for a more pleasant media and gaming experience.

It's amazing how well ASUS have added a better display at the small cost of having a slightly worse GPU than usual. I would like to compare it to the Lenovo Y50, which has the usual TN panel and has thus been criticized by many reviews, however the Y50 has an 860m GPU. I believe this is the best part of the ASUS, as the improved display more than outshines the difference in GPU performance and so is a great competitor within the budget gaming laptop group.

Hard to name one favourite thing about that laptop, but I'd have to go with that speaker layout, kudos to Asus for fitting that many speakers in that small space.

The Asus RoG G550JK is a Sweet looking Notebook. It can hold 16gb of ram, I like that.. I also like the red stripe on the side.
