I personally like the four speaker drivers on the front of the notebook, that's something I find special on the G550JK. I too, like a lot of people, love the balance between a gaming, content creating, and work laptop that the G550JK is. I can't wait to hear more about it and other notebooks like it in the future because I think it's a great machine!

The laptop having a displayport output is nice and I think it is strange that there aren't more laptops that feature it but instead just hdmi.

That is a really nice laptop, i'm surprised it made it all the way to the top of the mountain and back in one piece.

Looks pretty well rounded, I'd probably change the HDD to an SSD, but overall I like how powerful it is for it's form factor.

I think the thing that i like about this gaming notebook is the display, I agree with you that i prefer IPS panel over others.

i have a laptop with almost the exact same specs only difference is the last 2 characters on the cpu as my laptop has a 4710mq but everything else is the same, so my laptop games greatly therefore i would like to say i would love the gaming performance of the G550j however my laptop doesnt have a backlit keyboard so the standout for the asus would be the keyboard

I really love the IPS panel for the great colours because ive been stuck with a tn panel forever and really miss having amazing colours.
