Since I transport my computer all the time, I don't care for my current setup. I'm running a CM Storm Enforcer with a FL at case, which looks good and has decent cooking, but is built cheaply and doesn't like to be moved or carried. I love the look of the Corsair 350D,its my favorite looking case, so i was thinking of a 450D with a strap system. Also, it can't be larger than 21 inches tall and has to weigh less than 20 pounds.

Also, my total budget is no more than 150

(m) atx size? how much hdd space do you require? and if you were to add another 1 or 2 drives of 3.5" size <--- easily adjustable to smaller 2.5" of course.

Look at this one coming here talking about inches and pounds like he owns the place. :P

Does it have to be a mid-tower? I'd go with the 450D myself.

Your pc cooks? why the hell would u want to change it? lmao!

What do u mean by strap system? also those cases arent very portable have u considered downsizing to mATX or mITX?

Ha that's Autocorrect for you, and I just got a new motherboard so I'm not getting anything smaller. A strap like this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00021UJ62?pc_redir=1404315203&robot_redir=1

(m) atx size? how much hdd space do you require? and if you were to add another 1 or 2 drives of 3.5" size <--- easily adjustable to smaller 2.5" of course.

Full ATX, one or two 3.5" drives, one 2.5" drive.

Well it really shouldn't be a full tower doe to size restrictions under my desk and weight, and I need enough airflow, so mid should be the best. Why would you go with the 450D?

CM Storm Scout 2, perfect for your needs ;)

That actually seems decent, too bad it looks ugly, and I'm trying to get away from the storm line. Too bad corsair doesn't add to the Vengeance line

It's the only Obsidian series Corsair case without a silly solid front panel that blocks any decent air flow from getting in. It looks great, weighs about 14 pounds and is 19.4 inches tall.

Its not a HAF-Stacker, but I completely agree with you. Benchmarks show this case having some of the best airflow to noise.

I would say the corsair air 540 would be good, or one of the new upcoming cases

Since your running a full ATX motherboard, I would probably go with either the 450D or the Fractal Arc Midi R2

Arc midi R2 is nice, but its big for a mid-tower. Trust me, I brought one (fully loaded, too) on to an airplane (used some thick wire tied around the metal portion of the chassis). It was not very fun.

What airline did you use that let you bring a carry on that big?

Air Canada. I was surprised myself because I exceeded both height and length by about 20cm for each side. CATSA didn't blink an eye when I brought it through security and I just went as if I had a regular carry-on.

Lmao, I usually use southwest, and that case would exceed the carry on dimensions by quite a bit.

Oh god that must have sucked, any mid-atx case would be hard. The 450D is only an inch thinner and shorter, but one inch longer. Something like a CM Elite 130 with a GearGrip would be fun to carry around though.

It was mostly the fact that the wire was digging into my skin (not very flexible with some loose ends). I'm likely bringing a prodigy on a plane in the next month which I foresee to be a much better experience (although one of the smaller lianli chassis or the evga Haddon air probably would be better).

If you think carrying a prodigy around with its "handles" is a good idea, rethink that. They are possibly the worst designed and branded handles that actually hurt to hold and can be very uncomforable with a full system installed. Again, get This with This (or the mini-itx version of that)

I already own the prodigy lol. I'm likely fashioning some sort of strap to put it on my shoulder because carrying it in front of me will become fatiguing.  The handles are actually pretty good, although they do start digging into your skin after awhile.

Also, this looks like a great, small chassis that supports ATX- http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio/pc-a51/

Wow that's amazing, because I had designed a case similar to that with a front mounted PSU (Although the intake was in the front). I'll take a look at it, thanks.

*Edit* Again, wow, great concept, but after taking a closer look at it, its not designed good enough for more than 150 dollars, as well as not being able to purchase it anywhere. I wonder if there is any other cases small like that that house a full ATX motherboard.
