Swiftech H220 - Define R4 - front panel mount viable?

Hello everybody, I just created this account to ask this question. I am getting a new build in the next months. I am thinking of trying the closed loop WC for the 1st time. From Linus videos and other reviewers I found out that swiftech H220 is a very good solution (if not the best). I am thinking of getting Fractal Design R4 case.

I want to fit the radiator in the front panel in a pull configuration(Linus said it is beter than pull) so I can exhaust from the back and keep the top sealed for silent mode.  I have 2 questions:

1) Will the H220 radiator fit in the front panel? ( I think the answer is a yes)

2) Will the tubes rich the CPU without problems? ( I am not sure whether it has fixed length tubes or I can replace them, since it is expandable)

By the way my build is this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/imoutafi/saved/YnQfrH . Not interested in video rendering hence the i5. If you find anything wrong give me a shout.

Thanks in advance

Hello, I have R4 case too so I wil give you some answers since I did my custom loop 2 weeks ago

1. http://s29.postimg.org/tvw6e9nqf/DSC_0010.jpg I have EK-CoolStream PE 240 (Dual) radiator in the front. Only possible way was to mount it was on the air filter with 4 screws in the middle (http://s22.postimg.org/bdm4xloi9/DSC_0009.jpg). I think it is enough and it is stable (HDDs are helping with stability :) ) so H220 will be possible to do

2. If you find how long tubes are I can answe that, but for now I think it is possible. If not you can always mount it on the top.

btw. my tubin has 26cm from radiator to CPU

And few tips about your new build if you havent bought yet

1. You are going to everclock to 4,5Ghz? If not that Asus MB is total overkill and waste of money

2. For haswell CPU is recomended RAM with 1,5V and your has 1,65. I didn't know about this mysel and I have EXACTLY same RAM + i7 4770K (4,2Ghz), doing encoding of movies which take few hours and never had any problems. So this is just for info. You may google this and check what other people say

Thank you. I didn't get an email notification so sorry for late answer. I am new to overclocking so I wanted a proven good mobo for that. I agree that it might be overkill but I do not know what else to pick. I was thinking 4.4 ghz was something many people were able to do on 4670k and 4690k seems to have much better thermal behaviour according to reviews. So I definatelly want to reach 4,4.

according to this http://www.swiftech.com/H220.aspx#tab2 the tube length is 40 cm. I have not found anyone building it that way and I am wondering that maybe it has to do with the fact that the reservoir is on the radiator and if you mount it on front then the pump might be on a bigger height than the reservoir and that might cause problems. The last couple days I have been looking into Kraken X61 and Fractal Design Kelvin series and even H220x. I will propably build this system in the end of September so these new aio water coolers will be out. Plus I read many people having problems with h220. So definately not final choice yet.
