Does anyone know a good place to find a decent 1366 motherboard? I just upgraded my system to a 4790k but wanted to rebuild my old system into a smaller form factor. I would prefer to have a micro-ATX or mini-ITX setup. Here is what I have sitting around from the old build:

Intel i7 920 (cpu)
EVGA 4xSLI 1366 (motherboard)

6GB Corsair Dominator (triple channel)

Intel x25-m G2 160GB (ssd)

1000w EVGA (psu)
2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti SLI (gpu)

CoolerMaster V10 (cpu air cooler)
CoolerMaster HAF 932 (case)

I would ideally replace the V10 with some AIO water system. The case would definitely be replaced to reach that smaller form factor. PSU is overkill but I have it... if I need to replace it I can. GPU may be replaced with a more modern, lower-end card. I wouldn't want to spend more than say $500. Everywhere I looked it seems that board is hard to get a hold of, especially in smaller form factors... even on eBay. Hoping someone knows a good source I may not know about.

Thanks!

Btw: This was my system for a long time and I have been extremely happy with how well it held up over the years. It sat at 3.8ghz on air for about 5 years without an issue.

I did a search once for the same thing... basically it'll cost more to buy the 1366 motherboard than to buy a z87 board a cpu better than the i7-920. People who still have decent 1366 boards want way to much for them, especially if they're matx.

Exactly... I think I could actually make money if I sold what I had and bought newer parts. Just dumb.

an i7-920 with an OC to 3.7-4.0 Ghz is worth keeping. No need to upgrade, very little advantage from a 4770k except for more overclocking room or needing more than 24GB of ram.

Here. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131715

you can get something under 200$

I already replaced the system with the one in my signature. I wanted to turn my old system into a portable gaming system so I was hoping to find a smaller motherboard than what I have already.

You'd be best of selling that and maybe moving to H81 with a i3.

Here a micro atx mobo for 89$

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MSI-X58M-PCI-Express-2-0-CFX-SOCKET-1366-MOTHERBOARD-USED-/251576889907?pt=Motherboards&hash=item3a9326b233

only disadvantage with this one is no sata 6gb/s

There are small Matx cases, this ones fugly, but you get the point

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811144110

more cases

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811345030

Thislast case is really portable but supports full atx, so no need for new mobo

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163257

so for 75$ you can have a small case no need for new mobo. Or you can get a new mobo for under 100$

Another full atx but small

I would love to go with the prodigy but it is a matx case, it won't support a standard atx.

EDIT: It seems your links were messed up, I see you meant to link to something else for the 2nd to last case.

Still, paying 130 (shipping) for the motherboard used is a little pricey I think. I might just find a decent, small atx case and go that route.
