Need help choosing a graphics card

This is my current system:

Cpu: Intel core i5 3450 @ 3.10ghz

Gpu: Powercolour 7750

Ram: hynix 8gb 1333hz

PSU; 750w antec (bronze)

So i'm looking to play most of the latest games, like BF4 at max settings with over 60fps.

And i'm looking for the most affordable option for me.

So i've come down to these cards:

R9 270x - $250

R9 280x - $360

These are prices i can get them for in South Africa ( where i live), if i ship it from amazon which works out cheaper than buying it locally, which would run me $470 at local stores. Which is too much for me.

So which of these two cards do you guys recommend, or is there another card i should look at with good value?

Is the $110 difference worth it if i go for the 280x?

If you want to play play bf4 on max settings (60+ FPS) get the 280x (get the 3gb version) the 270x will not run bf4 at that framerate.

R9 280X is definitively worth it.

As others pointed out, the 280x is worth the extra money. Forthermore the 270x would not be a huge improvement over the card you already own, the 280x would.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I say too much difference in price between the 270x and 280X. Get the 280X.
