Your experience with Pebble

JustSmoki

Hey guys,

for some time now, I'm thinking about buying a Pebble. But I've heard from a few people now that the normal Pebble breaks really easy ( screen issues, artifacts on the screen, etc.. ) and since Linus's broke to I'm not sure anymore if i should get one myself.

Did some of you guys have the same experience with Pebble's Smart Watches or is it just bad luck ?

Mine works just fine after about half a year's of daily use, but I religiously use a screen protector since the plastic will not remotely hold up. I've hit it against concrete walls while running, dropped it off my bedside table and it's a-ok.

Yeah.. I know about the moto 360, but there are a few things for me not to buy it.

1. Even though Pebble's watch cant to that much stuff and don't has android running, i just like the simplicity of Pebble more then the design from motorola.

2. There is a huuuuuuuuggge price difference between the Pebble and the moto360.

so yeah xD there are my reasons :P

I have the pebble steel. 10/10. I will ocationally slap the face of my watched against door nobs cause I seems to be at the wrong night for life but other wise my pebble steel holds up just fine. Simplicity is best. All a smart watch really needs to do is push some notifications and tell you the time. That is why I went with pebble instead of these other brands.

Also pebbles battery life is about 8 days for me. That's really nice. I would hate to have to plug my watch in every night. Also the watch charges in a short amount of time. So yes. I would deffinately bbuypebble again.
