Buying a new motherboard, going to have to apply thermal paste. Duno what the hell im doing. Please help.

MX4 will do it. Just a pea size dab on the CPU.

MX4, with a pea sized dot in the middle. The technique doesn't really matter, you just have to make sure you don't put too much on. You can either spread the paste yourself (not with your bare hands - preferably your index finger covered in some form of plastic) or let the heat sink do the spreading. I vote for the latter as I have found it to be the more consistent approach :)

The Prolimatech will be the best performing thermal compound.

MX4 would also be good.
