Im deciding between two keyboards the new razer, and the k95 (im not doing rgb too expensive) Im wondering is there that large a difference between the two im used to using a membrane keyboard so im not sure if that makes too large a  a difference in bottoming out.

MX Browns will be much louder and have a bit of a bump about half way down, while MX Reds are smooth the whole way and quieter. MX Reds also require a lower pressure to actuate if I remember correctly, so if you play games where you need to rapid fire spam buttons, then they might work well for you.

I've got a MX Red and MX Brown keyboard and personally I like the browns way more, the reds feel too much like membranes to me. If you are considering of getting a Razer keyboard, consider again, it won't last very long because it's not good quality.

I can vouch for that, my Black Widow died after about 6 months. That was the first and last Razer product I'll buy.

If it's your first keyboard transitioning from membrane to mechanical, I'd recommend the Browns for some indication of actuation. If you're like me, the Browns will become an awkward hindrance once you're accustomed to the nature of Cherry switches, and you'll want a Red or Clear instead.
