Need a cheap, but decent laptop (preferably under $250)

Please, NOT a Chromebook.

 

Anyways, I just need something cheap and decent to do school work on. I just need something cheap - under $250 or less if possible. Maaaaaybe $300 or less, but that may be stretching it a bit, maybe, I dunno.

 

It can be new, used, or refurbished. I don't care, so long as it works and is in a decent, working condition.

 

Oh, and I'd like something with a screen size of ~13" to ~16", more or less. Anything less is too small for me, and anything more is too large for me.

 

So...any ideas on what I could get for that price that meets my requirements?

Why not a refurbished dell laptop from newegg? or an acer aspire

because dell is such unbelievable garbage. 

 

Is that even out yet? Because I can only find it on Lenovo's website and not Amazon, Ebay, Best buy, etc.

It just came out a few days ago I think... 

 

Anyway...Asus or Lenovo would be my choices. Dell is trash, and from experience with friends computers, acer and toshiba tend to have issues; and hp is just kinda there...

Dells are decent once you get to the higher end...but their service still sucks; and lower end Dells are absolute trash.
