Should I be worried - Rad pipe

Hey guys,

The pipe of my radiator is splitting and I don't know whether I should be worried about this or not.

Please have a look at the picture and let me know what you think.

Even if nothing is spilling, I recommend you get that thing replaced. :/

I fix computers and computer accessories... sometimes... when I want to...

Fortunately cooling won't instantly disrupt completely even if it splits, but you should get a new one asap. If you're still covered by the warranty just ask for a new one.

-edit-

actually no, if it splits you're screwed.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Yes, you should :P. Put some duck tape over it or something while you order a replacement and monitor it regularly. I doubt anything bad will happen within a few months, it won't instantly squirt fluid, it'll probably dribble at first but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Still not smart to run a pc when it could leak on you at any moment....

Remove it and drop the stock cooler back on while you wait for a replacement.

@Eddyyz

definitely contact the manufacturer. a split could be a defect in the hose or results

from other complications not exposed, yet.

Cool, thanks for the heads up guys!

Will replace this thing asap.

It has lasted me almost two years so I am not overly phased that it is dying. It did its job.

With regards to a replacement cooler:

What you guys think of the Corsair H110?

I've read a few reviews and the Coolermaster 240 is quite potent as well.

Any opinions/suggestions are welcome.

I don't know if it's possible, but why not change the hoses yourself, and add a res, turn it into a mini custom loop? :D

lol!

Meh too much work.

Rather just buy another high quality cooler. (H110 / Nepton 280L)
