ASUS releases new headset and GPUs within ROG line - Strix

The graphic cards had been announced previously but it seems Asus is coming out with some matching hardware, the Strix Pro headsets and it seems they're moving away from the red/black theme to black with yellow/orange accents.

A 780 of strix will probably cost as much as a PNY 780ti.

The headphones are some of the most stupid designs i've ever seen, i know the cooler is very good tho, since the Strix R9 280 preforms as good as most other 280x's

Yeah... Their other coolers looks a lot better and that headset is just awful looking :mellow:

No it is not, some programs use over 3Gb of VRAM, and in the future it will become more common.

by the time that happens our current cards will be low end, so it is basically useless. Futureproofing only makes sense up to a point, and rarely in the GPU market.
