watch dogs downgraded

hey guys i was wondering is it true that the graphics of watch dogs on pc were downgraded ?

 

& if so is their a way to make it better

 

or is it just a myth that you came do it by yourself ?

Yes & there's a mod that helps restore some of the E3 graphics

They gaphics were downgraded from when they showed off the game at E3-2012-13. There is a mod to enable the much better gaphics

Yeah, you can improve them with a mod from The Worse and another modder (can't remember the name). 

 

Ubisoft have said that the settings were removed because of issues with them, but everyone is pretty much agreed that it's bullshit, and that they held back the PC version (maybe to make consoles look better).

They were pulling stuff out of their ass like it improves performance, stability, and the readability of stuff in the enironments... In reality, it decreases performance, not really much on stability, and decreases readability of stuff in the environments.
