hi  i got maths homework and i hate algebra can you help me with these questions?

3x+13=2(x+9)

 

 

2(2x+3)=x-13

 

 

10+2x

-------- =4

    3

 

 

9x-15

-------=3

    4

You just solve the brackets and then add/subtract

Example 1:

3x+13=2(x+9)

3x+13=2x+18 |-2x |-13

x=5

Example 2:

2(2x+3)=x-13

4x+6=x-13 |-x |-6

3x=-19

x= -19/3 (lazy mode )

Example 3:

(10+2x)/3=4 |*3

10+2x=12 |-10

2x=2

x=1

Example 4:

(9x-15)/4=3 |*4

9x-15=12 |+15

9x=27

x=3

The first one is 5.(3x +13= 2x +18. Then you subtract 2 x on both sides and you get x+13=18 18-13=5 so x= 5)

The second is -6.3333

The third one is 1. (4*3= 12 -10 = 2 /2= 1 so x is =1)

The fourth one is 3. (3*4= 12 so 9*-15 must be 12. 12+15= 27 and that means that 9x must be 27. 27/9= 3 so x is 3)

i dont get it. Mine looks 100% correct
