Hi guys,

Someone earlier proposed this sub-forum become its own forum split into regularly used operating systems.

I second this notion, and posted it again because I could not find it (this thread would be easier to see).

Anyway, from memory they proposed

> Software and Operating Systems [Forum]

- Windows

- Mac OS

- Linux

I would also recommend something like an anti-virus sub-forum, as well as things like RAM Disk, Fraps, etc. (though obviously these could simply be called "Applications").

I realise software isn't the primary part of tech and less so of what Linus does, but it still really does need its own section, particularly since it's stuck in Hardware at the moment!

I can't see why not , if Linus & Co. sees this it's ok
