"Something new is coming..." AMD VP Global Channel Sales

mymouthandi

So ya, this happened: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/66761-exclusive-amd-launch-new-fx-9590-cpu.html

Same ol' piledriver coming again. This time the limited AIO edition from last year is no longer limited- that's the new chip

Roy continues to troll galore on twitter, and the reaction online is just as expected:

Jesus, no surprise really, AMD just flapping their jaws with "teases" of products that have been out for an extended period of time already.

Man, what the hell happened to AMD? Where did they go? When did they go? Seriously! AMD used to be a force, the FX name was something worth having! But more importantly, AMD had self respect back in the day. They didn't go out of their way to make themselves look like idiots over and over..........

What in gods name happened to AMD?

Their engineers aren't idiots, they can't be by nature, you have to be damn near brilliant to be one. So who is left standing? The damn leadership of the company, that is who, and that is who I blame for AMDs current situation.

If any of the idiots running AMD read this; Shut your damn mouth, listen to your engineers, and let them give Intel the run for the money you and the consumers need!

I don't even know what to say. Is AMD being serious ? How does a high ranked official make a tweet like that for this ? How much worse can their PR get ?

I feel this adequately expresses my feelings:

This is proper lame and pathetic.

and many, many more. Pretty sure similar gems will come out here too now.

it was something very old !!! and what were you expecting from AMD?

Computer users fall into two groups:
those that do backups
those that have never had a hard drive fail.
