Hi guys,

I won't repeat the question. I'm just curious because I often catch myself daydreaming or just starring at nothing(probably also considered daydreaming:D) in particular for no particular reason at all. Tis like my brain is on standby mode .

So, what about you guys, how often do you daydream?

All the damn time! It's either dreaming about PC upgrades, gaming, other stuff like riding a motorcycle or simply what i will do when this fucking exam seasonfinally ends.

I can distract myself from learning or paying attention so freaking easily! Like i am not sposed to be here. :P

Depends on what you mean by ´daydreaming´

If you just mean drift off, then I rarely do that.

If I seem absent, it's because I am thinking of how, whatever I'm doing, fits into a larger scale, and how it relates to other topics.

I used to daydream while riding in the car, especially on the motorway. But now that I drive, I can't really do that any more ):

That's a shame, day dreaming is so much fun. All the ideassss

My whole life is an ever-changing daydream...

Okay. I daydream far too much than I should, but without it my life feels empty.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

Its about what you do

Using MRI, researchers found that brain regions responsible for "task-unrelated thought" (that is, daydreaming or mind wandering) are almost constantly active when the brain is at rest or performing a task that doesn't require concentration.

So stop resting!:P
