Nvidia slowdown?

There is no ideal temp for a video card really. Cooler is better.

It's called throttling and it's purpose is to protect the hardware from damage.

80°C is the max, not the ideal temp lol

 

 

105C is the max safe temp for a gpu

 

80C is fine its not the 'ideal' because the ideal is just as low as you can get it without throttling and acceptable noise levels.

 

If I were you I would just leave the settings as they are I  wouldn't mess with them unless there is a big problem you have with the card.
