Naruto worth starting?

Almercenary

K-On! - anime about a high school band.

Angel Beats! - an anime that examines what happens to people after death, especially for those with regrets and connections to their life.

Not an anime, but more of a movie: Sword of the Stranger. This is a really wicked film that while is action-packed, uses subtle hints and flashbacks to develop the characters and show their motivations.

K-On! isn't exactly a go-to recommendation because it's just a ball of moe, biscuits, and tea. Mileage greatly varies depending on the viewer.

Angel Beats has pacing issues--it's more of a recommendation after Clannad and perhaps Haruhi. (The Haruhi series is worth watching just for the movie imo)

You make Sword of the Stranger sound so much more deep than it really is. It's just beautifully choreographed fight scenes and really bad Chinese dubbing that doesn't take much though to sit back and enjoy.

Eh, cutesy and happy stuff is always welcome which is why I said K-On! - I should of said that it had great music or something. Angel Beats! just seems interesting due to the humor, music, and theme that is worked in the series. As for Sword of the Stranger, I just didn't know how to describe it. I wanted to say a "mini-Lord of the Rings" because of the theme song that's used in it. The fight scenes are indeed beautiful and not overly-drawn out or dramatic. It's fast, brutal, and while flashy, isn't too flashy.

| CPU: An abacus | Motherboard: Tin foil | RAM: 2 Popsicle sticks | GPU: Virtual Boy | Case: Cardboard box | Storage: Cardboard | PSU: 3... Er... Make that 2 hamsters | Display(s): Broken glass | Cooling: Brawndo | Keyboard: More cardboard | Mouse: Jerry | Sound: 2 Cans of SpaghettiO's |

Haha, I preferred Angel Beats' music over K-On!'s.

Sword of the Stranger's fight scenes are great and a bit underplayed--always good to re-watch and study.
