Best 500gb SSD?

I'm looking at 500gb SSD's and am just wondering which one do you think is the best?

Value? Probably Crucial M500/840 EVO, the best is probably Intel 730 series but prepare your anus for the price.

I personally recommend Samsung EVO 500 SSD. I have personally used their SSD's, and had no issues. I have two in a RAID 0 configuration and it is beautiful

Hah, It's a dream build, nothing is guaranteed.

Oops, my bad. I don't think there is. At least yet. Hopefully they will release larger capacity models. That would be freaking sweet.

Could get 2 256gb for $260 and raid 0 them not too far in price to a single 500gb.

But RAID 0 is kinda risky. If one bites the dust, so does all of the data on the other one.

True but the failure rates aren't very high AT ALL and as long as the person does backups there is no danger.

One dies? RMA re-do  the RAID and throw it all on there.

I own a SP900(128GB though) and i can tell you it's one of the worst SSDs in the market.

Maybe in terms of performance, but aren't they the ones that Linus loved because they had some kind of capacitor trick up their sleeves to save data if there's a power loss?
