Um i think i have a problem!
I plugged in both my 780s and i attached the sli bridge and both of the cards fans are spinning so i know they are on.
But when i go into nvidia control panel there is no configure sli, surround, physx tab because it only says configure surround, physx.
When i go into the tab i also do not find any options for sli help what do i do?

make sure that both slots are electrically 8x and not 4x. SLi must have at least 8x/8x to function.

also the 780s are they 3GB or 6GB?

SLi will not work with mismatch VRAM size

The motherboard is a Asus V gene it is sli certified and both of the graphics cards have 3gb in vram.

No the graphics cards does not show up in devise manager under display adapters and i could not find the second card in the bios.

A friend of mine told me something about changing the PCIe lane speeds manually from 16x to 8 x though i can not find any option to do so all i find is to change between gen 1,2 and 3 which i tried changing to gen 2 for both lanes but that did not work.

Browsed a lot of other posts similar to mine and none of them has a answer so feeling kinda down =( but i would like to thank you all for trying to help and i was impressed over how quickly you al posted.

ok remove both gpus and install the 2nd gpu only and verify if it working

if there is no display it mean the gpu is faulty

Hi guys I'm having a similar problem. Both cards are detected, but they won't run together in SLI mode. Both GPU's have the same bios version and same driver update. I sent gigabyte a ticket, but I think I'll get a faster response from the community about it.

System specs:

Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H

i5 3570k stock speed

Gigabyte GTX 760 4GB rev 1.0

Gigabyte GTX 760 4GB rev 2.1

Patriot memory 16GB 1866mhz

Dell u3011 30 inch monitor 2560x1600

are the card on the correct slot for SLi mode? consult your mobo manual coz i think there might be BIOS setting to do before SLi can be activated

SLi bridge in placed?

I see your GPU Rev are slightly different but you mentioned both running the same GPU BIOS

very odd thing SLi mode not to work

Do you have anything else plugged into PCIe slots?  A sound card? Wireless card? RAID card?  If they are plugged into any of the slots that are NOT PCIe X1 slots then it will be eating up the lanes that the cards need in order to run in SLi.  If that's the case, move the peripheral card to an X1 slot and you should be good.  Hopefully it's as easy as that :)

I found the issue wich was that the motherboard was damaged somehow and shortly after trying the sli stuff another one of my sata connectors died and this is the second one.

I don´t remember where i bought it so i can not get it rmad.

So now i am faced with the horrible notion that i may have to buy a new one =(

However the 1155 socket is not that popular anymore and i can only find one that fits my colour theme and i think works with all of my stuff.

I can not find anyone who has built a sli system using this motherboard and the store where i might be buying it from has conflicting specs compared to this website so do anyone know if it will work?

Also perhaps anyone knows of a way to get my motherboard repaired or changed for a low amount of money?
