Ok...

I wanted the Gioteck because of the compatibility with XBOX360... But the Corsair one is better so I will go for them.

This...

So save a couple more buck I would get the CX600M, it is also a very good PSU.

The CM N500 and the Corsair 1300 or the 230T and the HS40? Both cases windowed :)

I dont like that 200R front, it has no grill, just the side vents... But with a mod it will turn out like a 450D... Waht do you think?

Why don't you like the 4Hs? Also the HS40 apparently aren't very comfortable.

Why?

My brother, is in uni, and he's using a laptop, and he needs one to carry around, and I might use this old piece of BS, and she doesnt want me to have a desktop because I also need a laptop to do the school work, at school... BUT, when we buy the laptop, this month, I think, and then in my birthday, September, which is kinda late, I might talk to her abou this again, muahahah, and buy a desktop, and still have my Samsung RV520, or like I call it Sanguessuga, which is leech in english :|

  • 2 weeks later...

So, my mother had this not totally brilliant idea, which is to buy a cheap desktop for now, and when school starts we will buy a laptop.

And I also edited the 1st post, and the budget from 1700$ to *hits the wall with my head*, 680$...

So this is for everything?

If so, buy a cheap laptop. Something like a Chromebook would be perfect for super cheap. They are amazing for school things as long as you have WiFi.

Good and cheap?

They don't have the best build quality but they are fine. I have been using the Acer C720 and the Samsung Chromebook and they have both worked well. Don't expect the most amazing specs nor build. The screens are TN but it really doesn't matter. The keyboard on the C720 is a bit shallow but the one on the Samsung one is nicer. I like the Samsung touchpad more but the C720's touchpad is fine. The C720 is a lot more powerful compared to the Samsung chromebook because it uses an Intel CPU. They don't have much storage onboard but have Google Drive space.

I like Chromebooks but they are not desktop replacements. They are more so to be an extra part of a setup. So buy a decent Windows PC and a Chromebook.
