Halp me, need ideas

I know they are good and cheap, I already had the Chromebooks as an option, but even for light gaming, and the storage....

They don't have the best build quality but they are fine. I have been using the Acer C720 and the Samsung Chromebook and they have both worked well. Don't expect the most amazing specs nor build. The screens are TN but it really doesn't matter. The keyboard on the C720 is a bit shallow but the one on the Samsung one is nicer. I like the Samsung touchpad more but the C720's touchpad is fine. The C720 is a lot more powerful compared to the Samsung chromebook because it uses an Intel CPU. They don't have much storage onboard but have Google Drive space.

I like Chromebooks but they are not desktop replacements. They are more so to be an extra part of a setup. So buy a decent Windows PC and a Chromebook.

Is the build any good?

Well the iGPU of the Pentium would do it, but what about this?

The SSD is a little bit slow so I would get the Hyper X 3K instead.

The portugueses told me it was similar to the Samsung 840...

If I go for this

And add a GPU later will it become any good?

You won't be able to game at very high settings for a while but it is decent but you will have to add a GPU soon, hopefully. Also the MX100 is slower with the lower capacity.

I might just go for the build in post #107...

And later get a GTX 760 or something, depends on which ones are available in September ;)

Just realized that the top fan in the N200 must be 15mm thick...

Gotta undo and redo everything... :(

Looks fine.

Well, in the shop that has the 760k, the GTX750 non Ti available is the MSI GTX750 (not the Gaming Edition), not even the EVGA, Gigabyte or Asus...

But if I buy in alientech.pt, where is has the G3258 cheaper, I can buy something like this:

PK G3258

ASRock Z97 Extreme 3

CX-430

CM K-350/N300 (non windowed) which one? Open to suggestions ;)

WD 1TB Blue

MSI GTX750 GE (will paint the red acents in blue, maybe...)

Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2x4) 1600MHz CL10

What do you think?

I would get the Z97 PC MATE instead for a motherboard. Also why not get a R7 260X? Also why not just get a 750K and GTX 750Ti?

So the 750k is a bit slower than the 760k, and for 5€, .4ghz its a little bit, when in locked intels for .1ghz you pay 15€, here in Portugal of course.

But wait a bit I'm gonna make a build and be right back.

Pentium build:

Arctic Cooling Arctic F12 PWM

CM Hyper TX3 Evo

MSI Z97-G43

CX-430

PK G3258

MSI GTX750 GE

CM K350

WD 1TB Blue

Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB 1600MHz CL10

Athlon:

CM K350

MSI A88X-G43

CX-430

Athlon X4 750k

MSI R9 270

WD 1TB Blue

Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB 1600MHz CL10

I know that the Athlon build is so much more powerful when it comes to GPU power...

Well, the Athlon build with the math done, will require 450W, so the CX-500 is a must, and thats out of the budget... :(

When all is said and done the difference between mainline brands of GTX 750 are not that big. In other words, any one would do. Or see if you can get a really good price on a 750 Ti.
