Battlefield 3 is acting up

So I downloaded it since it was free, got it installed, and now it's being weird. For example, whenever I change my key setup, it doesn't seem to remember it. And in campaign, when I complete several missions (and it saves) and then I exit, if I go back to campaign, it sends me back to the second mission that you do. Any reason for this? Is there a way to fix it?

That is weird, I have BF3 which was also free but has worked perfectly fine apart from being a complete CPU and RAM whore.

I have lots of experience with them, all you'll get is some Indian guy copy/pasting really generalized fixes that don't really do much. You could give it a shot if you really want. You might get some -10% off coupon that you can't use for any game released in the last 2 years (like I did).

Hell, Battlefield 4 works better on my 360 and I still have yet to update it. At all.

Well with me it takes about 2GB or so, I have 4GB total and most of the time I'm left to around 150-200MB free. That is pretty RAM whorish in my opinion/

The servers are not working good, because to many players downloaded and played it. Not enough servers i think. DICE is working on it. They say it will be fixed in a few hours or a few days. I asked this yesterday.

Just got done with a match on Fatality by i3d.net :: TDM Noshahr Canals 24/7 :: (nl.gifTeam DM • Noshahr Canals) and it actually went smoothly. Not sure if my keymaps saved, but my ping went down when I unplugged my stepdad's computer and it was a pretty nice game, actually. And man, even on low settings, BF3 still looks pretty damn good.

I deleted all of my save progress locally and turned off the cloud saving crap and it seems to be working great. :D
