Hello, I've been looking around but I can't find an answer to my question.  Hopefully you guys can help me out :)

I have a gtx 660, but I am thinking of getting two more monitors.  Does SLI increase multiple monitor performance?
I think I read somewhere that if you wanted to run higher resolutions, you would need more video ram, but the

GTX 660's only have 2GB, which is okay for 1 1080p monitor.

So would getting another 660 help me play games with three monitors or would I need a more powerful card with more

video memory?

Thanks alot guys!

For a triple monitor setup you will have issues with limited vram. Try to sell your 660 and save up for a more powerful GPU with at least 3GB of vram, hopefully 4GB.

Okay then if I were to stay with just a single monitor for gaming and another monitor for miscellaneous programs, would two 660s be sufficient to play newer games in 1080p in a year or two?

I use 3x 23" LG monitors 1080p and my 660 TI 2GB handles them fine, even in games. I play all games in surround and on high > ultra @ around 45 - 60 fps. depending on what game, most is around 50 - 60fps on high.

Its not that much more powerful. 660 should be able to do that on low on newer games, and medium to high in older games.

It's still OP

I know I'm kidding, but in all seriousness the 660Ti is just a 670 with a 192-bit bus.
